Lyrics

VERSE 1
You hit like sunlight on the wall
Sweet as honey, standing tall
Bright and shiny, ripe and red
couldn't see what lay ahead

Almost perfect, almost alright
any shadows out of sight?
grabbed a bite, dug in deep
tasted something I can't keep

CHORUS
There's a worm in the apple
sour bite too hard to swallow
Sweet sensation, bitter tail
big blue love, won't prevail

VERSE 2
I could live with all the rest
But one big flaw fails the test
Every story bent your way
can't believe a word you say

It's not your far away eyes
it's the way you serve your lies
perfect picture's 'bout to bend
brace for heartbreak 'til the end

CHORUS

BRIDGE
Maybe one no-no shouldn't matter
Maybe good should drown the chatter
But one small worm can spoil the whole
One little crack can sink a soul

CHORUS
